It’s not a major update but as it comes with latest security patch we recommend users to Update Sony Xperia XZ & XZs to Android 8.0 Oreo/November 2017 Security OTA (41.3.A.0.401).This latest Google’s November 2017 Security patch will bring fixes for many Common Vulnerabilities.The software update also brings device stability improvement, few bug fixes, and further improvements for performance. The users have already begun receiving the official update notification. However, if you want to check for the updates manually, you can go to the Settings -> About Device -> System Update and find if you have received this update or not. You just need to make sure that your device has enough battery so that your device doesn’t get switched off in between the update.
